We welcome all performers. We believe that if someone really has the desire and determination to learn, perform and succeed you can become a successful member. The 2008-2009 auditions will be a two-part process. A pre-audition camp will be held at Central Cabarrus High School of Concord, North Carolina on Sunday, November 2nd from 1pm to 6pm. This will provide potential members with the opportunity to meet the staff as well as get a hands-on introduction to the technique, style and warm-up materials. We highly suggest everyone attends the pre-audition camp (potential and current members). There is also no extra charge for attending. The main audition camp will again be held at Central Cabarrus High School on Saturday, November 15th from 10am to 6pm. All are expected to attend unless prior approval is granted from a director. If you can not attend either the pre-audition or main audition, but are still interested in becoming a member, please click the "contact" link at the top of the page to send us an e-mail. We strongly encourage any serious percussionist interested in auditioning for the ensemble in the future – whether for the 2009 competition season or beyond – to come visit us and see what it takes to eventually become a member of the ensemble. Audition packets will soon be released via the online store. Check back soon to ensure you get your packet prior to the pre-audition. The materials in the packet will be discussed in detail and played at the pre-audition. Once available, please download them in time to give yourself adequate preparation time. |
